FIFA is another franchise that has several versions and this version does not disappoint. As a long-time fan of the arcade soccer genre, FIFA's simulation-heavy experience has always appealed to me because it makes you feel like your playing a real soccer game.

FIFA 10 on Wii has been undergoing an arcade-like transformation similar to Madden, and this year's edition is an awesome mix of the typical FIFA sim-like experience and a less serious arcade game perfect for families and disabled gamers.FIFA 10 offers a lot of customization.

For example, you can choose the color of your teams’ jerseys, what field you play and best of all you can add subtitles with tips and tricks of how to be more successful in the game. These features are perfect for the color blind or deaf gamers.

The customization does not end there. You have two control options, the Nuchuck and the Wii mote or the standard controller. The Nuchuck and Wii remote is difficult to operate because you have so many button combinations to manipulate. So a good compromise is the standard controller.

Within the Standard controller you have several options to maximize your gaming potential that way you can create a configuring that works for you; also, a great work around for the one-handed gamer.

A great use of the standard control is in the game when performing he set pieces (corners, penalties, free-kicks) are transformed into simple reaction-based mini-games in which players must flick an analog stick when you with a Classic controller, at the correct time to perform well. In lower difficulties, this makes it a lot easier to score during these moments against the computer. When you play with friends, this is a fun diversion from the regular game play.

In this new version of the game you also have many new styles of game play that is easier for people of all skill-levels to play. For example, the enhanced social play also you to Compete against friends and family in multi-game series’ that will track stats, create storylines for the matches and create a sense of competitiveness and rivalry in an easy to understand format. This is a perfect way to have some fun and learn the game as well as try different configures that work for you!

Overall, I give FIFA 10 5.5 out of 10 because it is accessible because of the customization of the game play. As well as the ability to add subtitles and make the characters and arenas friendly colors that work for them! My only complaint is that not all of games allow you to use the standard controller and they force you to use the Nuchuk and the Wii Mote but these are just the party games which is not a huge part of the game.

For a fun twist on sport simulation and arcade game play that is fun for people of all abilities FIFA 10 is for you!
