One Button Bob is a very rare commodity; it's a one-switch web game. The graphics are reminiscent of Pitt-fall from the old Atari system. But the gameplay is much much simpler; left clicking does absolutely everything.
Each time you complete a level by left clicking at the appropriate time, what your left click does changes. For example, on the first level, left clicking tosses a boomerang that on the next level holding down left click for a second makes you jump.
The levels continue with climbing ladders, running away from enemies, and ultimately fighting an overlord.
There is a counter in the upper left corner keeping track of how many clicks it takes you to complete the game. Most people are reporting around 500 clicks to complete the game. Although, there is no minimum or maximum amount of clicks necessary.
For the mobility impaired, this game is a dream. It only takes one button to do everything and moving your mouse or using your keyboard is completely unnecessary. You can assign a left click function to any key or third party device to play this game.
The graphics are purposefully blocky and old-school which makes colorblind a non-issue because of their only being 24 colors.
Deaf gamers have no fear, all the instructions are in text and there are no audio cues.
This game does require some quick movement, such as repeated clicking on certain levels. In addition, some levels require 2 clicks to get past trapdoors that open and close quickly. This may be difficult for some gamers but it should not be insurmountable.
Overall, One Button Bob is a very fun, throwback, and amusing one-switch web game. Get your click on!
