Before getting to the important juicy parts of this review let’s have a quick recap of why you would want to be interested in this particular title. First, let me start by saying that this was one of the most beautiful, richly detailed games I have seen in recent memory. The environments are varied and packed with minor details such as bushes moving in a zephyr, tress and debris flying around with the torrent of wind caused helicopter flying above you. The graphical experience of this game is amazing to say the least.

Among thieves (Uncharted 2) also has amazing sound effects built into the game which sounds absolutely incredible and comes with support for stereo sound, 5.1 and 7.1 PCM setting which will blow your mind. They went all out in this department and it is a treat for the senses.
I think I have done enough general reviewing and should get to the more important part of this review to help you make an informed decision and not be blindsided by anything in the game. Shall we get started mates?
Accessibility notes of the good, the bad and the plain ugly!

The good.(Kind of like a Thanksgiving turkey and ham!)

Let’s start with the better accessibility points of the game that might pique your interest. All of the major cut-scenes have subtitles with large text that is easy to read, the chatter that is added between the enemies and main characters during the game play is not subtitled, but this should not create an unnecessary disadvantage (that said, things like intruder and shooter are yelled out when some new enemy enters the play field, but you should also see the shooter at the same time). Subtitles can be toggled on and off if you want or need to. I would say that this game is 85% friendly for the hard of hearing or deaf gamer.

Visually there are a few nice features that may or may not be intentional. There are a few instances where you have to press a certain combination of buttons in order. On the screen, you will get the color of the button and the symbol corresponding to the required button press (very colorblind friendly). There are very few Quick-time events to worry about , but the way the info is displayed makes them much easier to navigate. Grenades a majority of the time blink red and eventually become a solid red before exploding; there is a beeping sound that corresponds with the color flash, so this will compensate for any colorblind issues.

One of the nice things about the game play is that if you jump towards the general area where you're supposed to go the game will automatically compensate if you're a little off and move you in the right direction. Fine Motion controls are not required to play the game and everything is responsive. Occasionally throughout the adventure, you will be given hints of what you are supposed to do by pressing the up direction on the digital pad.

The bad.(Like that song everybody loves, except you hate it)

Only issues I had with subtitles were that sometimes they went by a little too quickly, this was a very rare occurrence. Common enemy banter is not usually subtitled on the screen.(Although this could potentially be very distracting from the important dialogue that is subtitled.) Game camera was sometimes awkward when approaching a wall. A couple parts that is not devastating to the overall enjoyment of the game, but maybe a slight nuisance to some players.

The ugly. (Like five day old leftover Chinese food)

For people who are one-handed gamers the button layout is not exactly the friendliest configuration for you. First, you must use the right analog joystick while you hold L1 to aim and press R1 to fire. Throwing grenades is done by holding down L2 and adjusting the angle using the right analog stick. A majority of one-handed players will have difficultly managing the controls of this title.
My experiences using a versatility controller / Fully 25 Switch adapted controller.

Playing through the game, I found that using my feet with four switches to control the left joystick was sufficient to navigate through the entire game with little to no difficulty. Right analog joystick was done by mouth via joystick with an attached tongue cup. Once again little to no issues aiming. Cutting board 4 way switch was used for R1(South),L1(West),R2(East) and L2(North). Users of switch adapted controllers should have minimal difficulty beating this game on normal difficulty.

Left analog joystick: Run around
Right analog joystick: Move the camera and adjust aim.
X: Jump or climb.
Circle: Roll while running, Take cover behind objects. Drop down and contextual actions.
Square: Punches, kicks etc.
Triangle: interactions / picking up item / Grapple reversals.
L1: Aim
R1: Fire and blindly fire from cover.
L2: Hold to aim grenade, release to throw grenade.
R2: Reload.
L1+L3: Change the camera view.
L1+R3: Toggles accurate aiming, scope and zoom depending on the gun.
Select: Activates Journal when available.
Start: Pauses the game.

Uncharted2:Among thieves , one of the most highly rated and acclaimed games is mostly accessible to the community except for most one handed players.
