Prince of Persia is an action platformer set in ancient Persia. The game is developed by Ubisoft Montréal and published by Ubisoft. It is available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 as well as the PC. The game is available for $39-$60 depending on where you purchase the game.
- Pros: Highly accessible, gorgeous graphics and a donkey full of gold, PC version has full key mapping.
- Cons: Low replayability level for people who rush through games, console version does not have customizable configurations.
Presentation: Has decent opening / tutorial segment that gets you familiar with the game and how you control your character and his abilities. It has solid storytelling about what is going on and never gets confusing to the player. Everything is how it should be based on the setting of the game and its watercolor art style. Overall a good presentation.

here.[/right]Graphics: The game has a really nice watercolor form as well as art style which is very pleasing to the eyes. Like many people have said before me, this game is like a painting come to life. Although there are a few rare occasions of overlapping textures, it does not take away from the overall beauty of the game. This game is worth renting alone just to see the graphics in motion.
Sound: The game is a very nice soundtrack that is fitting for the game. I felt that the combat was a little bit like in the sound effects department but was not bad. The game has a wonderful voice acting cast that is actually pleasant to the ears unlike a lot of other games in recent memory. Overall the audio quality and voice acting is above average.
Gameplay: This is actually one of the easiest games I have played in a long time. On the console versions there is no alternative button configuration, but the way it's set up for work for 90% of the population disabled or not. The computer version is completely customizable. Everything control smoothly and has been kept as simple as possible. Overall one of the best control schemes I have yet to play.
Replayability: To me this is where the game is the most lacking. After you finish the game the only real thing left to do is collect all of the life seeds work to finish the game again with minimal deaths to unlock an achievement/ trophy. Unless you're immediately blown away I suggest this as a rental if you complete your games quickly as a general rule. I wish they had added a little more replayability to the game.
Accessibility: I have played this game more than halfway through and here are my findings, new and improved. The game is fully subtitled and flows slowly enough to read it. The game requires no audio feedback to play and can easily be enjoyed if you are completely deaf. I feel that this is definitely a good game for the deaf since it's more of a visual experience than anything else. For one-handed people this is also a good game because you rarely have to use the right joystick to adjust the camera. I was able to go through the whole game without ever once adjusting the camera angle with a joystick. There is also a button that will center the camera in the direction you're character is facing. Just about everything that is required can be done with square, triangle, X as well as circle. I wish the console versions that included custom key mapping like the computer version and this game would almost be perfectly accessible.
I'm not sure the company really was thinking about making an accessible video game, but this comes very close to getting as accessible as possible. I think this game is quite a bit of fun and also it is very pleasing how accessible it is to people with various disabilities. The only issue I can really find is the fact that you cannot customize the layout like on the computer version. For a console game it's very difficult to get any more accessible than this lovely title!
Closing comments: This game is a lot of fun if you don't try to power through it in one sitting. The graphics are excellent as well as the sound. One of the most accessible console games I have played in recent memory. If you take your time this game is definitely worth buying and renting at the very least if you tend to finish games within less than two weeks. This is definitely worth checking out!
