You’ll find yourself battling your way through tiny monsters all the way up to Medusa herself. Even more interesting is that you begin battling the famously named monsters within the first 10 levels.
You have three different paths to choose from Warcaster, Elementalist, or Eidolon. Each has its own unique feel but in the end it comes down to Melee, Mage, and Healer. Additionally, you can cross over 2 spells from another class into yours.
Spells are handled very differently than traditional casting in most MMOs. Much like Magic the Gathering, you are given a “set” that has a certain amount of spots to place spells. Now, you can change which spells and how many in each set while you are in town. But once you leave town, you are stuck with those abilities for the duration of the battle.
Each spell or ability appears in your action bar at the bottom of your screen randomly. You can only access a small number of spells/abilities at any given time. In addition, you are giving Power Stone as a type of mana.
You can only place as many creatures into the battle as your Power Stones allow and each creature takes a different amount of said stones. Moreover, each creature only lasts so long before disappearing back into your set.
The strategy comes into play when determining what ability or creature to use at what point in the battle.

AbleGamers has been actively involved with Mytheon for months. We can tell you that the game is entirely accessible to those who can use the mouse. There are no important audio cues and very little color blind issues. Those with low vision may have some difficulties but more on that in the accessible game review.
The open beta starts today. To join the Mytheon Open please visit http://www.mytheongame.com/user/register. For more information please read the open beta release below.
