Merry Christmas to one and all!
The AbleGamers Crew would like to wish you and yours the happiest of holidays and merriest of Christmases this fine year. We wanted to take this time to thank you for your support of our momentous endeavor to make videogames more accessible to everyone. In case you didn't hear, we were able to grant 3 disabled veterans their Christmas wishes this year, which was thanks to the generous support from all of you.
We’ll be giving our all-volunteer staff the week off, but stay tuned for some exciting announcements in the coming weeks including our game of the year, how many cities we'll be doing with the accessibility arcade this year, and some amazing, top-secret, can't even hint about it here, announcements.
And if you would like to use one of those unwanted gift cards, some of the cash your aunt Mary gave you, or if you just feel like being Tiny Tim’s Christmas savior, consider a donation to the AbleGamers foundation and help us keep giving back to the disabled community all year long.
Merry Christmas,

Ablegamers' web game of the week is Winterbells. A very simple, yet challenging game that will help keep you in the Christmas spirit. Not only is it enjoyable but it is also accessible.
The goal of the game is simple: get as high as you can without falling. You may have played a similar game with different aesthetics, especially if you're no stranger to the iOS store. Your rabbit gains elevation by bouncing off of the various bells scattered randomly in the sky. You move your mouse around to guide your bunny with no other controls. As mentioned, the game is not only enjoyable but entertaining!
The game's accessibility is great, with only one major flaw. Gamers with precision and mobility impairments will have a hard time moving quickly and accurately enough to climb upwards. One-handed gamers will have no issues since the only controls rely on the mouse. Colorblind gamers will encounter no issues since the game really only uses a black and white color scheme. Sound is unimportant, so heading-impaired gamers can play uninhibited.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all.
