Since 2004, the AbleGamers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, has served more than 56 million members of the disabled community by advocating greater access in video games. Today, AbleGamers is a leader in the development of equipment, programs and services to those living with disabilities, hardships, and quality-of-life issues that are a result of chronic illness or trauma. It is our goal to ensure that all people, regardless of their disability, can use gaming as a tool to have enriched social experiences with friends, family, and the world at large.

Heroes of Ruin is a hack-and-slash action-adventure game coming to the 3DS by the development studio n-Space. The game seems very similar to the Diablo series straight down to the quests and loot you can pick up and equip. Diablo is an accessible game on the PC, but a similar game on the 3DS might not hold up as well without touch screen implementation.
There are tens of thousands of items within the game so it isn't likely that you'll be able to get or see all of them during your playthrough. Luckily the game includes a trading network that utilizes the 3DS's Street Pass feature to help you gain access to items. If you get a Street Pass tag from someone who also plays Heroes of Ruin, you'll be able to get their item information in your city and purchase any items that they've sold in their game.
There is a strong emphasis on community that was very evident when Marco got a chance to check out the game at E3. Besides the Street Pass functionality, multiplayer seems as easy as ever to get into. Jumping into a friend's game with your character allows you to keep your level and items and join your buddy wherever they are in the story. So while it's not advised, someone who recently started the game could jump into a multiplayer game with someone on the last dungeon if they wanted to. The game supports local cooperative multiplayer as well as WiFi multiplayer for up to four players. Here to strengthen this sense of community are daily challenges available on the game's website that will challenge players to accomplish certain objectives within the game to net extra rewards.
The game has various checkpoints throughout each level to make sure that you're never forced to repeat too much if you die. Every character class has three different skill trees to choose from to ensure that the player has a decent amount of choice in their character. Heroes of Ruin is set to come out early in 2010 for the 3DS.
