GDC is a little over 2 weeks away and I am feverish working away to figure out a game plan for what events I will attend and whose booths I will stop at and much much more. Since Ablegamers was able to get me a press pass, which I graciously accepted, Thanks so much I am honored to attend and represent AbleGamers!

I hope to attend workshops on the competition between iphone gaming and online gaming, as well as the one on the rise in popularity of games of Facebook. In addition, I must cruise the expos for the latest from the greatest like Nintendo and Sony.

But my main purpose at the conference is to network with the gaming companies, and continue spreading the word and message of Ablegamers!

So far I have an interview with the people from Mytheon, which is an online action-RPG title set in a mythology-based universe. I can't wait to question them on their game’s accessibility, and to help inform them if they need some help.

Then I will be headed to a press meeting with Bigpoint games to see what new and exciting things they will have to offer. They will be discussing how they support Indie gaming development community as well demoing Poisonville – Browser based mmo with huge production values and budget featuring console quality graphics and mature game play; as well as some other new and exciting titles.

I will also be visiting Telltale Games to see what is new and exciting with them with the franchise of Sam and Max for PS3. Of course, a lot more press stops along the way and in between!

So, most of my questions will be centered on accessibility for the one-handed, color blind and deaf gamer. I will also ask what the developers consider when designing a game for the disabled gamer.

I am asking you the loyal readers and fans to send me the questions you want answered at GDC. If you have an idea or topic you would like to be discussed please email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

I am looking forward to representing AbleGamers at the conference! Look for more of my articles to recap the events at GDC!
