Tara Tefertiller is just your average gamer with a Zelda tattoo. Being honest, she learned about gaming accessibility almost on accident. After working at Volition, Inc as a Quality Assurance Tester for over a year, she was laid off. Having fallen in love with working in a studio, she sought advice for how to stay involved with the gaming industry while returning to school to finish her degree. Not sure on what to do, she contacted an old friend and teacher from when she briefly attended University of Illinois - Michelle Hinn. Through Michelle she learned about AbleGamers and right away wanted to join the cause. The rest is history. In her spare time Tara loves video games, dancing, tattoos, singing, a good drink at the local pub, working hard to complete school, and zombie hunting. |
