The AbleGamers Charity will host fundraising event to benefit gamers with disabilities
The AbleGamers Charity, which improves the quality of life for people with disabilities by utilizing powerful assistive technologies, returns to Boston, Massachusetts for the PAX East gaming conference, April 11-13, 2014.
The annual fundraising event gathers support from top-tier video game publishers and developers, including EA, Blizzard, Square Enix, PlayStation, and many more, to offer prizes to those who donate to the AbleGamers Charity. Players enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience playing Pachinko while learning about gamers with disabilities.
This year’s AbleGamers booth, located in the BandLands directly in front of the escalators going to the main show floor, will be focused on fun with more machines, more interactive opportunities, and better prizes than ever before.
The entire AbleGamers senior staff of accessibility experts will be on hand answering questions about accessibility, offering free advice and consulting for those who have questions about game accessibility, assistive technology and/or gaming with a disability.

We are now accepting press appointments between 8am – 5pm, Friday April 11, through Sunday, April 13. Appointments are given out on a first-come first-served basis, and will fill up quickly. Please indicate if you wish to include an audio or video segment with your interview. Separate interviewing space is available for those interested in speaking away from the loud booth environment.
