WOW Strikes Again, I Can't Hear You

World of Warcraft has released it latest patch, WOW 2.2, and in doing so may have given those that have Creative Labs sound cards (that is a lot) a far lesser gaming experience. Now I am sure that it is no secret that Blizzard has little or no contact with their end user, AbleGamers has tried for well over 2 years for an interview. Well it looks like it is not just the end-users that get the cold shoulder from the makers of WOW, it also has no interest in speaking to vendors of hardware that those pesky end users might use.

Blizzard looks to have broken many users who use Creative Labs Sound Blaster Sound cards, giving them poor, or no sound at all. It is so bad that Creative Labs has an official post on this, they state...
As many Creative soundcard owners are discovering, Blizzard recently made changes to the WoW client that have impacted the audio experience significantly. Our developer relations group were given minimal advance warning that these changes were about to occur, and our subsequent requests to Blizzard for clarification as to why the changes were made have gone unanswered.

Well I am glad to know that the largest sound card vendor in the world is also having as great a time with WOW as we have. Now I do not feel so bad, for a while I thought they just hated disabled people (by the way, they do), but I was wrong, they hate us all...
Please, will the game that is going to be the WOW slayer please come and just do it.  WOW Insider has more.
