About the AbleGamers Foundation

Since 2004, the AbleGamers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, has served more than 56 million members of the disabled community by advocating greater access in video games. Today, AbleGamers is a leader in the development of equipment, programs and services to those living with disabilities, hardships, and quality-of-life issues that are a result of chronic illness or trauma. It is our goal to ensure that all people, regardless of their disability, can use gaming as a tool to have enriched social experiences with friends, family, and the world at large.

Pete Hines makes Elder Scrolls MMORPG official

Bethesda Softworks' Pete Hines as made it official, the maker of Elder Scrolls is planing on launching a MMORPG based on the popular game. The net was all abuzz a while back when the domain name elderscrollsonline.com was acquired by the company. Now it is confirmed that there is a game behind the name, and with wheelbarrow of money thrown into the project ($300 mill), this game is off to a good start. Bethesda has turned to its new MMO shop, ZeniMax Online Studio, to make this project happen.

There was a question about how this new project effects the current pipline, Hines said, “I don't think that this funding changes our focus in terms of what we are about and are trying to accomplish. The additional resources will allow us to expand our publishing efforts-both our own titles and those of other studios-and to pursue development of more titles, working with internal and external development teams”

I have liked just about everything Bethesda has done in the past, so I have high hopes for this project.
