Peek-a-boo

As it turns out, in each splash page was an image of a puzzle piece, which was completed last night.  To the surprise of many fans across the world the hidden puzzle turned out to be an evil purple penguin, that's right, the giant clue we have all been waiting for is a purple freaking penguin!

When examining the splash image it has become apparent that everyone is indeed seeing the game that they wish to have information on as the character beneath the ice.  All around the World Wide Web people are digging in, saying that it must be whatever game it is that they hope it is. In past articles, I stated that I believe that Diablo III will be the announcement at tomorrow's Worldwide Invitational, and that opinion has not changed.  However, it would be irresponsible of me to not point out how the image can be pictured as almost any game Blizzard has on its roster.

Upon closer examination, the glowing eyes slanted at 45° angles when coupled with the snowy background is a dead ringer for Arthas the Litch King.  Oddly enough as a Starcraft fan I could not help but feel that I have seen those eyes before, in fact, I have seen the eyes used in that image because they are nearly identical to the eyes of an archon - a glowing ball of energy with attitude.  Of course, we still have the original idea of Diablo III, who is to say that the Lord of the underworld do not possess electricity for eye sockets?

Therefore, in short I have come to tell you that Blizzard has successfully baffled all of its fans until the very last day.  Tomorrow the image will be fully revealed and we will bring it to you here as to what the new game is and what the purple freaking penguin meant.
