Since 2004, the AbleGamers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, has served more than 56 million members of the disabled community by advocating greater access in video games. Today, AbleGamers is a leader in the development of equipment, programs and services to those living with disabilities, hardships, and quality-of-life issues that are a result of chronic illness or trauma. It is our goal to ensure that all people, regardless of their disability, can use gaming as a tool to have enriched social experiences with friends, family, and the world at large.

As we witness dawn breaking on the morning of the largest electronics event of the year, E3, We can only sit and wonder what games, gadgets and gizmos will be unveiled in the next few days that we can't live without.
This year begins a new type of coverage for E3. AbleGamers will be spinning the news for what's important to you, the disabled gamer, live at E3. Now reporting from the first day, here is Marco Pasqua

We are two days away from the main event and already the excitement is in the air in LA. After registering and securing our media badges we were invited to X-box Live Tweet up at Luck Strike. With food, drink and lanes to bowl, a good time was had by all. Microsoft was a very accommodating group and ensured that everyone was thanked individually including those that did not get into the VIP section. As people left, others that were not granted access were given badges so that they too could meet Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb, Eric “E” Neustadter, Stephen “Stepto” Toulouse and Eric “DMZilla” Doty. Many people won passes to the exclusive 2011 Microsoft Media Briefing occurring Tuesday morning.
Our friend, Will Anderson, from pnosker.com was able to meet Microsoft’s security icon, Stephen Toulouse, and got a signed copy of his book, “A Microsoft Life”. Similarly, I was honored to meet and get a photograph with Major Nelson.
We are very excited to attend the Media Briefing tomorrow! I will be tweeting live all day long, so make sure to check regularly for the latest and greatest of event coverage of E3.
