Fruit Ninja Kinect Preview

fruit-ninja-frenzy-preview

Fruit Ninja Kinect and Fruit Ninja Frenzy bring us a new way to slice our fruit that will likely be the next addictive game.  The game has greatly improved over the IOS version with their new smoothie feature that allows users to customize gameplay.  For example, there is a smoothie that will eliminate bombs so that users can get greater combos.

fruit-ninja-frenzy-preview-1I found in my experience, the game was very straightforward and even auto-calibrated on the Xbox 360 to adjust to the height of my wheelchair without having to go into the Kinect tuner. With a simple swipe of my hand I was able to chop up fruit like a true Ninja.  This is the first game on the Kinect that I can play with little to no issues in accessibility. To top all of that off, if you have the game for facebook on an IOS device, the stats that you get on all three devices will transfer over regardless of platform.

I know I will definitely be picking this game up for the Kinect.  The developers were very happy to hear that this game would be able to cater to the majority of the AG community and have promised that they plan to approach game development in the future with “us” in mind.
