Uber Saddness

I know that they are not people, but that does not change how sad they can make you. This weekend we here at the AbleGamers HQ had to make the heart-breaking decision to put our beloved Luna Bleu to sleep. I wanted to share a few photos and thank you all for the support.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. They may not be people, but they are family.

It's a sad day when you lose one so close. Remember the love and the life.

I joined here awhile ago - and unfortunately have not been able to get here as much as I would like recently...but...

I also wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss.
Losses of long-time, family pets have been (for me) some of the most tragic and most painfully sad times in my life.

I'd rather lose my other hand-
...well
... ...at least I'd rather lose the hand that I've already lost all over again; than lose Shadow (my faithful, 7 year-old dogsmilies/smiley.gif

My advice...

-Get another dog *SOON* (preferrably a puppy).

It's *not* disloyal and it's *not* minimizing or neglecting your grief of losing your Luna.

I found that (again, for myself) the only thing that could really help or improve the way that I was feeling at that time...was celebrating the new and unconfitional love of the new dog.

Dogs are pretty damned smart, loyal, and understanding - and I'm quite sure that your Luna would not want that loving/caring, unconditional and unbreakable bond you had undoubtedly formed with her...to end with her.
I'm very sure that she would want you to feel that happiness...and for another dog to be able to receive and benefit from the love, caring, and security that you can offer it.

Never forget her, but never let her loss hold you back or prohibit you from giving and receiving that bond between a happy pet and its family.
