At the risk of being buried in outrage: I cannot help but feel that this game is rather limited from a single player campaign point of view.
Yes, I know it's only part 1. In a way that is the problem. I've gotten fed up with reaching the end of a game only to see a great big "to be contineud. "" sign. (Although Alan Wake was the only one to be that direct.) I can live with it in episodic games, but this is a full price game.

Playtime wise I got more out of Red Alert 3 than this one. That included the secret mission, and going back to pick the alternate missions.

The online hassle is not worth it, I'm sure it's great for those that enjoy online focused games. However what I want from a rts (Most games actually) is something to load up once in a while, possibly on my laptop on the go, and play solo or 1vs1 local.(Good way to kill a 2 hour train ride.)

Oh sure it was fun while it lasted. Had some ok moments. It has funny references for those geeky enough to get them. (I confess to getting most of them. ;-P) For all the hype and bla there just seems to be relatively little of it.
