Welcome to the New AbleGamers Community Blog. A blog post can, at the moment, be posted by any member of the AbleGamers Community, as long as it follows a few simple rules...

1.The blog should be about one of the following topics
  • Disability issues, game related
  • Disability issues, just because
  • Games and Gaming
  • Computers and Consoles
  • General Tech things

There are a few things that you should not blog about.
  1. 1.Please do not blog with the intent to trash another person, company, or game. You can have your opinion, but it has to be based in something other than a rant. We all understand that not all games are best for our community, and you are good to say that, but “Blah blah just plans sucks” is not a post we need.
  2. 2.Please do not post any sensitive information on the blog, including your passwords, home addresses and so on, we want everyone to be safe.
  3. 3.Nothing lewd, so please keep the cussing down to none if you can, and we would really like not to have to see a photo of your butt or any other odd body part.

Now as it currently stands the blog is open to all members, but if we start getting a lot of spam and such, we will have to restrict it to approved members (basically real members, not spam bots).

Why no comments on the blog posts?

Simple, I can not currently afford the component that will let that happen. It is $45 if I recall, and AbleGamers just does not have the funds at this time. You are welcome to donate some cash to the cause, the button is over to the left.

Can my blog post be turned into AbleGamers Original Content?

You bet, if what you have to say it worthy of being part of the AbleGamers front page, we will ask you if we can put it there, with you as the by line.

How do I post?

This is easy, if you are logged in you will see a blog menu, and in that menu there is 2 links, one to write a new post, and another to see your blog (without everyone else's)

What are “Tags”?

Tags are something that bloggers use to help categorize the post they have made. Lets say you are posting on a kick-ass night of raiding the Goblin of Terror in World of Warcraft, you may tag that “WOW, Raid, Goblin of Terror”. Now if someone searches the blog for WOW, your post will be one that comes up.
