I know that the server was acting all messed up, and we did move to a new server, so things should be a lot smother now.

We did have a server rollback, and I know that a blog post from the3 and a few forum posts were trapped in the rollback.

I want to say I am sorry, but to much had changed on the new server to just copy the database.

As you know AbleGamers is a labor of love by a few dedicated people. We need to see that you like what we are doing. So please... post a comment, start a forum post or something to let us know you are listening and supportive. So much time and now money goes into the work that we do and we need to know that you are reading it.

Last thing..

The ads. I know they suck, I hate that they are there, but the new server is costing us more we needed to pay at this point, so they are necessary until we can find another funding stream. Sorry

I love the site, you guys do a great job. I understand ads and they don't bother me one bit in fact if I saw more I would click them if it would help. I'd donate, but have little to offer. It's funny I can't believe my selfish ambition to get into Stargate Worlds beta opened my eyes to such a great community. Now if you could get me into Star Wars TOR, hehe. Keep up the good work guys, really.

You guys indeed rock. Not only is your work awesome, but it's downright vital for raising the profile of the disabled gaming community. You're the figureheads for an entire movement -- maybe not the most glamorous position, but an important one nonetheless.

As for the ads, it actually took me a few seconds of looking to even see the single banner at the bottom. So certainly don't worry about them being obtrusive. Against the bar of most other gaming sites, this place may as well be ad-free.

I understand about the ads. Your thankfully not using pop ups & the ads are quite unobtrusive, so I'm not bothered.

Not using pop ups shows you have integrity.

Having seen the site evolve over time, it really is fantastic Ioo!! I am feeling a bit guilty these days about having just dropped off the face of the planet, so feel free to capitalize on that in the near future =)

I'm very new around here, only been regularly coming to the site for a couple weeks now, but I must say I very much approve of the site. It's a fantastic resource I didn't know existed before. Other than some technical glitches which probably were part of the problems resulting in the server move, I've been quite happy with this site.

Oh, and I've turned off my adblocker for this site as well. Not sure how much my visits alone will make you, but wanted to do what I can.
