okay so there's this new MMO that is currently in closed beta called PERPETUM

If you go into the guide section it gives a lot of info about the game and how you move your character the camera just about everything is a lot of info you just have to check it out for yourself.

I'm not really sure about the accessibility yet for others
but for myself I'm pretty sure I can play this

FYI I'm any question please no use my fingers and have a very hard time using the keyboard.

So check out and tell me what you think.

Well I was planning on doing a trip report about this games accessibility, but I've hit a problem. On-screen keyboards don't work.

I'm pretty dissapointed, Giant Robots + EVE Online seemed right up my alley.

are you saying on-screen keyboards dont work for the game? if so i dont know about that but theres always a way to make them work.

Yeah I tried a bunch of different ones but had no luck getting them to actually work. If you know a way around this then I'm all ears.

Lets reach out to the company? Write the review and make it clear that the on-screen keyboard is not working.

yeah definately do there still in closed beta so that means it will be easier for them to fix.

Well I could try, but as I use an on-screen keyboard myself for all communication it could be difficult. In any case, I've thrown an application in for closed beta, if I get in I'll have a go at writing one, thats if I can find a way of getting past the login screen.

Game looks neat. I always like mech games and the art in this one looks real nice. Thanks for posting it.

well it seems that this thread is quite dead but I have to resurrect it.

has there been any progress regarding accessibility via on screen keyboard? it might be an interesting test whether or not speech programs like dwVAC, say2play, shoot, game Cmdr. etc. allow input into the game. If not it most likely is part of their anti-cheat technology.

It seems that they have reopened application for closed beta.

I'm not sure that would be good to know why not try emailing them or going on there forums and ask. but the game can be played by mouse only except for chat. along with a WASD option

maybe I will. So you can control your robot by point and click? guildwars style?
